Prof. Muhammad Azam

Prof. Muhammad Azam is a Consultant Paediatrician with extensive experience in General Paediatrics, providing care for infants, children, and adolescents from birth to 17 years of age. He works with both public and private patients at Wexford General Hospital and Ely Hospital, Wexford. He is an Honorary Clinical Professor of Paediatrics at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and an Associate Clinical Professor at University College Dublin. Prof. Azam has a special interest in tongue-tie assessment and management, infant feeding difficulties, and neurodevelopmental conditions including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). He is committed to evidence-based, family-centred care and provides expert assessment and management for a wide range of paediatric conditions including growth and nutritional concerns, respiratory illnesses, gastrointestinal disorders, eczema, developmental delay, and behavioural difficulties
